On Nutrition and Neutrality...

I have been exploring how to nutrify the human body for over 10 years.  This subject fascinates me to no end, understanding that it must be as much a part of what I am to do with my life as is working in midwifery.  The latest places that this discovery has taken me to is looking within the concept of the physiology of food.  Not seeing a person and what they eat from grams of a nutrient, but from their wholeness.  And how a certain type of food can compliment the experience of life as a human in whatever state one may find themselves in at that time, which could mean pregnancy!  I see that the basis of eating most often comes from an emotional or mental perspective and not necessarily from the connection with what our body is really asking us for.  Therefore in relating to someone in this area, here may be the best place to start rather than asking them to fill out a food record of their eating habits. 

In researching and learning about the physiology of food and the physiology of the human body, I see that eating a vegetarian or vegan diet that contains an abundance of raw food can help a person feel ultimately alive.  Yet, only if it is the diet that produces this within that person.  Hence, I am committed to finding the place where to meet a person inside the context of eating and diet, and to truly find what they are asking of me if this topic is one that assistance is sought about.  

Conscious Nutritional Counseling~

So, then what I would describe as an offering I provide is conscious nutritional counseling.  As described above, the nourishment of the body and soul call to me.  Through my own personal experiments and education, I have found that the combination of living, vegan foods and emotional support as an incredible means to grow our bodies, souls, and minds.  To this I am a student, and I will share what I have learned in guidance and as a joint effort.
